VIA NanoBook at 7 Inches Beats Palm Foleo’s 10 Inch
Category: News | June 6th, 2007

We just love it when there is other competition and the VIA NanoBook is the one that beats the Palm Foleo. The reason for this is because the Palm Foleo which is brilliant is 10 inches, but the VIA NanoBook UMD is only a mere 7 inches Jesus that is small. The 7 inch VIA NanoBook UMD Windows Vista laptop is definitely a match for the Palm Foleo.
This NanoBook is only $600 but is not set for release at the moment, it is just a detailed look at their design to get people aware that they can be good at design (bring it out now you mad people). This tiny little baby may be small but it will pack an awesome punch, next to the 7 inch screen is a little slot for taking different add-ons from VoIP phones, GPS modules and 3G cards.

If theirs no cd rom will it com with word and excel standard, and i guess i have to buy special software for this device so its not really just $600 and i have to buy a usb mouse (now it has one usb free) because those touch pad mouses suck.

What special software? You can’t connect to a desktop PC or a LAN and transfer data in that way or use a USB external optical drive? And I know of a LOT of computers that lack Word/Excel standard.

When’s this out??? I’d buy that for 300 quid! (currently in the market for a pico-ITX with flip-up monitor case; this’d do the job nicely!)
