Hp are competing really hard with Dell and both are realeasing their new series of laptops every few months. To my opinion Dell has the best customer service buttttt HP laptops come with a lot more features which can be the best replacement for any desktop PC. One of the feautres I like is, most HP’s come with the Altec Lansing Speakers, really hifi speakers, with such spearkers you dont need a 5.1 surround speaker system. Also, most HP come with all the media card slots and Dell only comes with 1 (usualy a SD card slot). Now I am not sure if this series of HP has the great cool speakers and the 5 Card Slots. But overall the specs look nice for this HP laptop but one thing didn’t sound good was the processor ADM Turion 1.8 (1MB L2 cache), could have gone with a INTEL Dual core with 1.8 2MB L2 cache which would have improved the performance of the laptop, but again thats my opinion and AMD do produce a lot of great processors but this laptops deserves better processor, especially for the price its going for. Now what caught my eye was the fingerprint reader, I just suddenly started noticing that almost all laptops nowadays are coming with the built in fingerprint reader. I know most fingerprint readers are not that good with the Windows Vista, so I hope the fingerprint software on this HP is stable. I use to have my own external fingerprint reader from M2SYS Technology and it served me well for 3 whole years but nowadays almost all laptops come with the embeded fingerprint system, which is good to see, added feature and added security. Over all this laptops looks good and for normal basic PC users, a real good laptop.
