Unveiled UMPC: Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 Ultra Mobile PC

Fujitsu announced or should we say unveiled on the 17th July their sexy little first UMPC (ultra mobile PC); this UMPC is called the Fujitsu LifeBook U1010. This unveiling was in Taiwan and they are hoping to sell 600 units a month yes a month when this cutey becomes available. They are saying that this device will be available at the end of the month.
The Fujitsu LifeBook U1010 Ultra Mobile PC which is apparently a mobile Internet device is based on Intel’s McCaslin ultra mobile platform which features 800MHz A110 processor and 1GB DDR2 memory it also boasts Bluetooth and 802.11a/b/g. Let us wait and see if UK and USA will receive these little Ultra Mobile PC’s by the end of the year, we doubt it thou and would have to say UK and USA market will see it sometime in 2008.
