According to Google’s cache, Alienware had set the upcoming Area-51 m17x’s BTO page live for a little while just a few days ago before hurriedly taking it down. Thanks to the cache, we can reveal that the rumours about NVIDIA 8800M graphics were true.

Pay an extra grand and you’ll find yourself rocking with two 512MB cards running in SLI. The processor is impressive to – a 2.8GHz Core 2 Extreme for just $800. Alienware isn’t keeping pricing subtle, with a price tag of $1000 for the 64GB SSD option.

If you choose all of the options, it’s likely you’ll be paying around $5500 with Vista Ultimate. But, for what you get that’s reasonable!
