Dell has placed an order with a Chinese manufacturer for 12.1-inch touch screen panels.

In the past dell have confirmed they would be working on a convertible pc tablet that would be launched by the end of 2007.

Some rumors state a senior vice president of the business said they want to end speculation about the product,

It has been described by a source to be the lightest most exciting pc tablet at present time.

This news indicates to me it won’t be long till you see the tablet on the market place
