Asus EcoBook bamboo laptop: Is it really environmentally friendly?

Now if you want a laptop that good for the world, then what about the Asus ultra green EcoBook bamboo laptop, the question is “Is it really environmentally friendly? Asus already had a laptop out like this but decided to update it even more, the design has changed from the original for the better.
This latest edition bamboo laptop now features even more wood accents than before with bamboo surrounding the touchpad oh and the bamboo façade. We have not got much information to go on at the moment but Asus did say this was a prototype and the design may well change before the release of 2008.
So as normal there is no word on exact dates or prices but what we do know this Asus EcoBook bamboo laptop looks stunning.
Is it really environmentally friendly though is the question?
