Laptop sales overtake Desktops: Which is better?
Category: Other | November 23rd, 2007
I’ve got a question for you: what is better a desktop or laptop? I have both and bought the laptop for the portability, which I’m sure is the reason many people have a laptop. The reason I ask for your opinion is because figures show that last year laptops overtook desktop machines in Western Europe last year and the trend is continuing into the US market.
So, with everyone opting for a laptop does this mean that the Desktop’s time is almost up? I wouldn’t be without mine – playing games is brilliant, I don’t need to worry about how much battery I have left and it’s far tougher than a laptop.
Laptops are great for working on the move and allows you to work casually. But, as I said there’s the battery life issue, they’re easily broken and repairing them isn’t as easy as repairing a desktop.
Both the laptop and desktop have become a huge part of our lives and they both have their pros and cons but what do you think? What do you use most? Laptops vs. Desktop – the choice is yours!
