Asus introduces their new Penryn-based M51 series of laptops

Asus has been concentrating on low end laptops mostly, but it seems they haven’t quite given up on the most expensive tastes in laptops either because they have just announced the M51 series of laptops. Probably the Penryn M51SN model is the most noticeable which has NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS graphics, 250GB hard drive, 15.4 inch WSXGA + display screen, up to 4GB RAM, and a choice of HD-DVD, DVD, or Blu-ray drives.
Well if that seems over the top for your needs Asus will also soon have the M51Sr and M51Se, which apparently lose the Penryn processors in favour of ATI Mobility Radeon 2400 graphics while other specs should remain intact. As for a release date or pricing on the M51 range seems Asus are keeping it to themselves at the moment, however as soon as well know you will to.
