So far it looks like MSI are walking towards the Intel’s upcoming 45nm Diamondville processor in a big way, the Diamondville cheap laptop is built from scratch for powering low cost ultraportables of the Eee PC’s alike.
This is no doubt going to be a budget laptop that everyone can afford, this chip will be announced and unveiled sometime in April and MSI have indeed said “when Diamondville is ready, our project will be ready.”
The MSI Diamondville laptop will include an Intel Celeron processor, 7 inch LCD, weighs less than a kilogram and will be wireless enabled, all this for a budget expected price of US$248.
Will this laptop kick the Eee PC’s ass in sales?
