Having seen someone struggling to keep it from being knocked to the floor on the train last week, I'd definitely make it heavier. A laptop that can't be used in transit is almost as little use as my PowerBook has been since a signature piece of lazy Apple production engineering made the screen fall off.

I use my macbook for radio, tv, youtube, gaming etc, and if the mac notebooks could be improved for me it would be by adding a higher grade sound card.

I can't believe this 'cutting edge' laptop has mono sound – I mean, how long ago was stereo invented?

I'd give it 3G always-on cellular internet (UMTS), built in. Slip in a sim card, and browse!

very disappointed that the remote disc sharing does not allow you to transfer music cds and dvds over, therefore if you want to burn music onto your itunes you will either have to purchase from itunes, or purchase a superdrive

The Mac Book Air has only one USB. therefore if you want to atach more than one device you have to use a USB expander. The SUperdrive can not be attached to the expander. It wil not work. This is not right.
