low-cost laptop PC

Acer are planning on pushing out low-cost laptop pcs, well this is the rumour anyway. J.T. Wang who is the chairman said that they are planning on launching a cheap 7 to 9 inch laptop in Q2 or Q3 of 2008.

This means that it will put them in direct competition with the Eee PC and CloudBook in the low-end world of laptops.

Acer are currently the worlds number 3 computer makers at the moment and we say with their new plans on a low end laptop computer with an expected price of around $470 is something that Acer should re-think really.
