MSI and Gigabyte launching 8.9 to 10 inch low cost laptops: Under $500

MSI have showcased their Wind laptop at CeBIT 2008 which will feature 8.9- or 10-inch displays with prices between 299-699 Euros (US$470-1099). The features will include 2.5-inch hard disk or SSD drive, 8.9-inch and 10-inch panels with 1,024 x 768 pixel resolutions, 1GHz to 1.6GHz processors and 1GB of memory.
We can see this year being the battle of low cost laptop PC’s, expect these new laptops to be around sometime at the end of Q2 2008.
