One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) XO 2.0 Prototype Unveiled
Category: News | May 22nd, 2008

We all love the idea of OLPC being here with us in reality with the upcoming Windows XP version of their low cost XO and then all of a sudden they blow us away with the unveiling of the stunning XO 2.0, Nick Neg who unveiled this beauty must love his job.
The all new XO 2.0 Prototype will apparently be due sometime in 2010; this all new laptop will have dual sunlight readable touchscreen display in a smaller e-book form factor, loving it already. Looking at the picture above you can clearly see it looks hot and sexy, what we like even more is the fact Nick calls a $20 price point per display not out of the question and that is all thanks to the ubiquity of LCD screens for DVD players oh and with a final laptop price of a low $75.
They have said lets work on getting the XO down to $100 and then see this new XO 2.0 Prototype in 2010, just so everyone knows the Give 1 Get 1 program will start up again August or September 2008. We love you OLPC, keep it all coming.
