Eee PC 901 at WiMax with specs and price reduction on older Eee PCs

At Taipei’s annual Computex exhibition, it is expected that Asus will be announcing their Atom based Eee PC 901 8.9 inch screen, with 1GB memory and available with either Linux or Windows XP, and also the 1011 10 inch screen. However at the WiMax Expo which has already begun is featuring a WiMax enabled version of the Eee PC 901.
Apparently though the WiMax version will not be shipping until later. The Eee PC 901 models being displayed where both in black and white and based on the 1.6GHz Atom processor, and includes Bluetooth, Wifi and memory card slot. Windows versions will have 12GB SSD, while Linux builds will have 20GB SSD. Apparently the Eee pC 901 weighs 1.14kg and incorporates a battery that brings 4 to 6 hours of user time depending upon battery selected.
Concerning older versions of the Eee PC, Asus’s CEO says “they will be reducing prices on those which makes the Celeron M 701 and Celeron M 900 models all the more attractive.”
