Acer has four new Gemstone laptops coming out that should please most, the Aspire 8930, Aspire 6930, Aspire 5735 and Aspire 4730. The top end Acer Aspire Gemstone 8930 starts thing off with a nice big 18.4 inch HD WUXGA CineCrystal display, very nice.

The Aspire 893 features a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo T9400 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT graphics, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB 7,200RPM SATA drive, optional Blu-ray drive, WiFi,
6-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.

The Acer Aspire 8930 starts off at $1,699.99 and then going down-scale, the Acer 6930 16 inch display costs $699.99, the 5735 15.6inch costs $549.99, and bringing up the rear is the Acer 4730 14.1 inch display at the same start price of $549.99.
