It looks like Sony is pulling out all the stops on its brand new PRS-700 E-book Reader; this is definitely the successor to Sony’s PRS-505.

They want to add more to the range of electronic readers, the new model does feature the same 6-inch display and yes the new one comes with touchscreen, the difference with the all new Sony PRS-700 E-book Reader is that it is as said “Touchscreen” and has a reading light as well.

The cool thing about the touchscreen is that you can turn the pages with your fingers plus you can search through the e-book with the on board keyboard, it can store up to 350 books in its internal memory, it has an SD card slot for more memory, you can even use a memory stick. The new Sony PRS-700 E-book Reader goes on sale in the U.S around November time.
