It appears that there will be a host of products that will piggyback on the launch trail of Sprint’s XOHM WiMAX network, and Toshiba is the latest to jump aboard with their new WiMAX ready Satellite U405-ST550W laptop.

Toshiba describe it as the “first ever” combined WiMAX and WiFi module, and was once codenamed “Echo Park” which is just about the only standout feature the Satellite U405-ST550W has.

The Toshiba Satellite U405-ST550W has a 13.3 inch screen, Toshiba’s trademark TruBrite technology, 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, and will be available “soon” but as yet no word on price.
