Apricot Computers has come back to the United Kingdom offering up an entry into the netbook world with their “PicoBook Pro.” Apricot Computer’s “PicoBook Pro” is described as a “sub-laptop” and is an 8.9 inch netbook which includes optional WiMAX support.

The PicoBook Pro will run either Microsoft Windows XP or Linux OS and incorporates a 60GB hard drive and boasts a battery life of four hours. There is also 1GB of RAM, VIA processor and LAN 802.11a/b/g.

Apricot lays claim to the PicoBook Pro being “green” as it uses ultra-low voltage 1.2GHz and has a fast boot of thirty seconds. The PicoBook Pro is available for pre-order for shipping come November 1st and has a price tag of £279.00
