Absent from Apple’s new MacBook Pro release is a refresh of their 17 inch MacBook Pro, instead, Apple has pushed out a minor upgrade for the high end MacBook Pro, however there is no change to its external casing.

The updated Apple 17 inch MacBook Pro retains its original aluminium casing and comes standard incorporating a high resolution 1920 x 1200 LED backlit display with the choice of a bigger 320GB hard drive or optional 128GB SSD.

But the word is the 17 inch Apple MacBook Pro will receive a refresh in the coming months which should bring it in line with the current MacBooks.
