GPU accelerated h 264 video decoding enabled for new MacBook range

A forum user has apparently clocked the playback of 1080p high definition trailers from Apple and it has taken less CPU time on the new MacBook when compared to the old MacBook, with the newer MacBook carrying NVIDIA 9400M integrated graphics while the older carries NVIDIA 8600M GT.
This then would suggest that for the first time this version of Mac OS X on the new MacBook range with the new NVIDIA chipsets offer GPU accelerated h 264 video decoding.
The word is multiple readers have confirmed roughly similar with their new MacBooks and MacBook Pros. These changes could well be based on improvements planned for Snow Leopard and Apple has previously stated the QuickTime X would feature in Snow Leopard offering optimised media playback.
