NEC the Japanese based PC vendor is looking at launching an all new 8.9-inch netbook called the LaVie Light in Japan in November 2008, this report comes directly from company president Kaoru Yano.
The NEC LaVie Light has the Intel N270 processor, with a cool 160GB hard drive, 1GB of memory and of course Microsoft Windows XP. The only downside to this news is that no price has been finalized as of yet.
This new netbook will not be launched in the Taiwan market, the question we would love to know is “Will they ever release it in Europe and the U.S? Very much doubt it is our answer, but hey well worth asking.
