Toshiba has launched their new series of Dynabook Satellite laptops carrying the name PXW. So far Toshiba has produced two versions which are the 55GW and the 57GW. There is a price differential between the two solely based upon which processor and graphics card they incorporate.

The lower end Toshiba 55GW packs an Intel Celeron 575 at 2GHz and an Intel GL40 Express chipset, while the higher end Toshiba 57GW sports an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor at 2.26GHz.

Both sport the same specs like a 15.4 inch LCD display with 1280 x 800 resolution, DVD Super Multi drive, WiFi, 2GB of memory which is expandable to up to 4GB. Multi-card reader, and with a price tag of €800 which is about $1075 for the 55GW and €930 which is roughly $1250 for the 57GW.
