Yes folks yet another Eee PC from Asus, Asus has introduced the Asus Eee PC 1000H-X which will become available in Japan next month with a price tag of approximately 60,000 Yen which is roughly $600.00 US.

The thing is, if you take a look at the Asus Eee PC 1000H-X specifications sheet there doesn’t seem to be any difference with the Asus Eee PC 1000H in other parts of the globe.

The specs of the Asus Eee PC 1000H-X and the 1000H are as follows, both have the same dimensions, both have an Intel Atom CPU, both have 160GB hard drives, 1GB of RAM, and Windows XP, they both have the same amount of ports and same display. So is the X just simply something to denote Japan?
