Everyone looks for a bargain at this time of year, as everyone wants to save some cash for those festive parties. Well there may be a way to save some of your hard earned cash as a couple of retailers are doing what they term “Black Friday-style” price cuts.

Wal-Mart was doing a deal on a 15.4 inch Compaq CQ50 139WM laptop that came with 2GB of RAM and 160GN hard drive, for just $298.00. Then there was a PlayStation 3 complete with a Wal-Mart $100 gift card at $399.00, and a PlayStation 2 with a Wal-Mart $30.00 gift card.

Popping over to Kmart, they were doing a nice 32 inch Sylvania LCD HDTV which is normally priced around $550.00, but was up for $439.99, and then there was the Wii Fit for just $89.99.

So, can this mean that every Friday in the run up to Christmas will be a “Black Friday?” Guess we will see.
