Laptop are the majority of new PCs deployed in business, and company staff are more and more being asked to work from home or on the road and out in the field, and better portability is needed so laptops become smaller or fall to the domain of the smartphone.

Smartphone are becoming a real challenge to the laptop as these mobile phones become more and more advanced and are capable of doing what most laptops can do. Which means the corporate sector no longer needs to use a laptop when all they requires is the easy carry smartphone such as an Apple iPhone 3G.

And if there weren’t enough, the small ultra-portable netbook is now challenging the laptop, computers are shrinking to become netbooks, yet the laptop still holds on refusing to be pushed aside in favour of the netbook and smartphone.

So given the choice which would you choose, small netbook or big laptop?
