The Asus Eee PC 1000H is now being replaced with the new Asus Eee PC 1002HA and it is headed for the United States on December the 1st for $499. The best way to describe the Eee PC 1002HA is that the Eee PC 1000H mated with the Eee PC S101 and thus was born the Eee PC 1002HA.

The Asus Eee PC 1002HA takes a great deal of its design from the Eee PC S101 and has a thinner profile than the Eee PC 1000H which comes out at less than an inch in thickness, and the 1002HA incorporates a brush aluminium lid.
