Google has on several occasions mentioned that the Android operating system could make its way to desktops and vehicles. So obviously with the rise of the netbook Android is looking to step into that field.

Proberly the best thing Android could offer the netbook is a possible lower price for the end user, and well beings Android doesn’t charge for their operating system unlike Microsoft, the cost could be kept to a bare minimum. The word is we could expect to see an Android powered netbook by the end of 09.
