Apple has issued an update to QuickTime 7.5.7 and comes as big news for users of the Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro unibody range as it fixes issues whereby some users couldn’t view protected movies on iTunes on an external display.

No doubt the 7.5.7 QuickTime update will please those who were experiencing that problem, as there were quite a few MacBook and MacBook Pro owners who had reported the issue.

Apple owners can download the QuickTime 7.5.7 update simply by opening Software Update or otherwise visiting the Apple Support Download Website. However this particular update will not allow playback of high definition on an external screen and will only be viewable in SD.
