2008 has seen a bit of a shake up in the laptop world, for one there is the Atom powered netbook which changed everything for quite a few users. We saw the Apple MacBook range gain better graphics across the range, we saw Centrino 2, eSATA and DisplayPort begin to rise.
The limelight has been taken by the need for power saving and so LED displays have become the “in” thing. Large laptops got larger, small laptops shrunk even smaller, but as for weight, well that’s stayed about the same even though packing in more features.
