The Lenovo S9 Ideapad 8.9 inch laptop is now available in the United States and is a smaller version of the already available Lenovo S10 Ideapad laptop. The Lenovo S9 Ideapad sports a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU along with a 4GB SSD and 512MB of DDR2 RAM.

The word is Buy.com and Geeks.com will be selling the Lenovo S9 in the States with Linpus Linux operating system, GMA 950 graphics, LED backlit display, 0.3 megapixel web cam, 802.11 b/g Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and 2 USB ports, along with a 4-in-1 card reader.

The Lenovo S9 Ideapad from Geeks will cost $344.99 while from Buy will cost $359.46.
