Apple partners need Macworld more than Apple.
Category: Apple, News | December 18th, 2008

Apple are extremely competent to host their own events with some success, but Macworld is really for those 3rd party developers to show off their wares, and its those 3rd party developers that make Macworld an incredible event.
Macworld isn’t like the other tradeshows whereby Apple is simply a big name company, Macworld is Macworld, and without Apple there would be no Macworld.
Obviously Apple would like to rid themselves of the need to develop their products according to the Macworld schedule, but lesser known companies’ need the exposure Macworld brings. So should Apple kick Macworld to the curb or should they keep in mind those smaller companies that need the exposure?
