Microsoft must deliver Windows 7 and soon

Category: News | December 23rd, 2008

It’s been nearly two years since Microsoft introduced Vista but still Vista remains outside the corporate sector and as a result Microsoft is being put under pressure to deliver the new version of Vista codenames Windows 7 and probably as soon as late 09.

With the way the economy is and that Apple Mac are increasingly replacing the Windows desktop and laptop within the workspace, Microsoft simply can’t afford to delay Windows 7 for too long.

A survey conducted by Sunbelt software and ITIC of 700 senior execs came up with only ten percent have Vista deployed in their workplace while 88 percent used Windows XP. Some 77 percent reported use of Apple Macs while 50 percent they plan on using a wider range of Apple products such as the Apple iPhone.
