Netbook is out as Google bans the term netbook from Adwords
Category: News | February 10th, 2009
The big boys of the computing world, Google has apparently decided the term netbook isn’t well liked and thus have decided it will no longer allowing the word netbook in any kind of their Adwords. Apparently Google believes that the creator of the netbook, Psion should be the only one who can use it.
So does this now mean we can’t refer to the netbook as a netbook? Maybe Google can come up with a suggestion as they feel they have to give it approval.
So any suggestions for erasing the term netbook and replacing with???? I’d like to hear a few suggestions from our readers on just what they think the netbook should now be called….how about the ultra-mini-tiny-note-goognet laptop? There I’ve started you off…your turn.
