The Apple Mac Mini specification has gone unchanged since 07, and now with the $799.00 Apple Mac Mini model those specs get a much needed tune up. Apple has added improved NVIDIA graphics along with a new 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a bigger hard drive.
Spec wise the Apple Mac Mini offers the same housing of aluminum and white plastic top, 2GB DDR3 SDRAM, 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, 320GB hard drive, dual layer optical drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth, 5 USB ports, and runs on Mac OS X v10.5.6.
On the upside, the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics includes iLife’ 09 digital media software, it’s energy efficient, space saving and has a distinct design. On the down side, phone support only lasts 90 days after purchase, while similar priced PC offer better functionality.
