Dell has recently updated their Vostro laptop family, the Dell Vostro1320, Vostro 1520 and the Dell Vostro 1720 laptops. The Dell Vostro 1320 is a 13.3 inch unit; the Dell Vostro 1520 is a 15.4 inch machine while the Dell Vostro 1720 is 17 inches.

All these Vostro laptops come preinstalled with video conferencing and web cam software as long as the buyer purchases the integrated web cam and microphone of course.

Now you can opt for an SSD rather than go with the usual HDD and also can opt for a fingerprint reader for added security or even an encrypted HDD with Wave Systems software. These laptops are now available in the US for $569 for the 1520, $629 for the 1320 and $649 for the 1720.
