Hao Hua D-roll roll-able laptop concept

Laptops shapes hardly ever change, this is probably due to the rectangle being the perfect form for laptops. However there are a few that try to push beyond the accepted lappy shape by using less conventional materials, smaller sizes, colours, and movable parts.
This is where designer Hao Hua steps into the arena and shows the D-roll or digital roll laptops which he says is the “next generation laptop design.”
The D-roll holds a cylinder form factor, with what we presume will be a flexible display screen which can then be wrapped round to slip into a sort of artist’s tube. The D-roll carry strap doubles as its USB, a very thin slide out keyboard, a detachable web cam and mouse. Unfortunately the D-roll is nothing but concept for now, but gives us a peek into the future of possible laptop design.
