Sharp has now released details on their Japanese Mebius PC-NJ70A laptop, a laptop that unfortunately incorporates an uninspiring collection of rather boring inner components, but what captures the interest with the Mebius PC-NJ70A is its somewhat unorthodox trackpad.

It appears Sharp has placed an 854 x 480 resolution LCD straight onto the palm rest and apparently it auto-adjusts its brightness based on its surrounding light and can also act as a secondary display for such things as adjusting an equaliser.

Spec wise though the Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70A offers a 10.1 inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM along with a 160GB hard drive, 3 USB ports, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, multi-card reader, and Ethernet.
