AT&T netbooks to be unleashed nationwide this summer
Category: Other | May 22nd, 2009

AT&T has now begun pushing out their netbook wireless data palns along with a subsidised netbook in select markets and will roll out the program nationwide this summer. This means customers can purchase ultra-portable nebooks with an AT&T data plan.
Netbook sales have been a shining light in the PC industry for the last 3 quarters and now sub-$500 netbooks are being supplied on the AT&T network alongside the iPhone 3G, can AT&T cope with the strain on their wireless network?
If potential customers take full advantage of the potential $99 subsidised AT&T netbook in droves then AT&T could well experience big issues with overloading the network.
