The first officially announced smartbook is the Mobinnova élan netbook, and the guys over at engadget have managed to get hold of one of these NVIDIA Tegra powered machines and given it the once over.
The Mobinnova Elan weighs in at just over 2 pounds with an 8.9 inch display which can pump out 720p video; however at present it is not known which operating system the Mobinnova Elan will be running.
Apparently the machine features an “innovative 3D graphical user interface,” along with hardware accelerated Flash video, 3G and WiFi connectivity.
