Category: Software News | June 10th, 2009

Anyone thinking that Red Hat has forgotten consumer markets only need try the final release of Fedora 11 which is Red Hat’s community focused OS for laptops and desktops and is a polished professional and meets or beats Windows in key performance areas.
The biggest selling point of Fedora 11 is it just works and is fast as well and takes just 20 seconds from powering on to logging in and that beats Windows and if Windows wants Linux boot performance they’ll need to turn to Linux for help.
Linux really has nothing left to prove, it took years to eventually become user friendly but it has now arrived, and at this point the only thing that Fedora can do is embrace and extend the Mac or Windows experience.
