Microsoft Bing bites at Google Marketshare

Last week according to new industry data Microsoft’s Bing search engine eon more marketshare from rivals; however still trails way behind the likes of Yahoo Inc and Google Inc. Steve Ballmer, Microsoft Chief Exec has said challenging market leader Google is a long term project.
For the week of June the 8th to June the 12th, Microsoft snatched 12.1% of United States internet searches, which is up on the 11.3% of June the 1st to the 5th which was whne Microsoft Bing was launched.
As a comparison, the last full month in which figures are available which was May, Google gained 65% of US searches, Yahoo had 20.1% and Microsoft has 8%.
