Free upgrade to Windows 7 for Microsoft Vista PC buyers

The word from Microsoft is new customers who purchase Microsoft Windows Vista PCs before the launch of Windows 7 OS in October will receive a free upgrade to the Windows 7 operating system.
Microsoft has also stated they will take pre-orders for Windows 7 as of the 26th of June and will offer Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade for USD $49 and Windows 7 Professional Upgrade for USD $99.
These prices are roughly half the suggested retail price. Pr-order sale will begin today in the USA, Canada and Japan with the UK France and Germany following next month.
