Category: Dell, News | June 30th, 2009

According to a news report in the Wall Street Journal, Dell is developing a handheld mobile Internet access device, a prototype that apparently resembles an Apple iPod Touch however slightly larger and without mobile phone capabilities.
The Dell prototype is powered by Arm and is expected to run the Linux based Android operating system and it is expected that Del will start selling the internet access device sometime this year but there is talk that the plan could also be canned.
Dell has declined to comment on the possibility of the prototype internet access device stating they do no comment on speculation and rumour.
