Android Aspire One still on track reaffirms Acer

The other day we reported on whispers about Acer apparently dropping Android as a laptop platform, well apparently that isn’t the case as Acer reaffirms their Acer Android based Aspire One laptop is still on track to be released in Q3.

Acer first mentioned their intent to push out an Android platform machine back at Computex, and then there were rumours of delay and possibly shelving the project, which now turns out to be just that…rumours.

Although a similar Acer Aspire One is currently available sporting Microsoft Windows XP, Acer plans on debuting a 10.1 inch Android Aspire One with Intel Atom Processor.
