The Compaq CQ61 laptop is the follow up lappy to the Compaq CQ60, and is HP’s “value” laptop brand over in the United States and the Compaq CQ61 comes to the buyer packing a 2GHz AMD Sempron M100 processor.

Spec wise the Compaq CQ61 offers up 2GB RAM along with a 160GB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics, DVD burner, and a 15.6 inch WXGA display and a 6 cell battery.

The Compaq CQ61 comes sporting Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and commands a price tag of some $399.
