Google Chrome OS was available for a short time

According to a report, Chrome OS is available to some although it isn’t the full version, but rather a Beta and a download link was posted on Google sites. However, this is obviously a mishap as if you try the download link it says the page has been removed due to violation of terms of service.
But just so you know what you could have grabbed hold of, here’s the info… New Chome OS 0.4.223 beta is available now. Chrome OS is a brand new free operating system built around the Google Chrome browser.
Features of the Chrome OS are…GNOME 2.24 desktop environment, Google Picasa 2.7 photo manager, Google Chrome 4.0.223 web browser, GIMP 2.6 image editor, Flash Player 10.0 plugin, OpenOffice.org 3.0 office suite.
System requirements are Intel Pentium or Xeon or newer processor, 256MB minimum RAM, 1GB minimum hard disk, and supports most modern graphics cards. Such a shame it’s been removed.

This was never a google OS. This was put together by a group as there version of what google’s chrome OS was (Although it was called chrome OS) It was made using suse studio and was a stripped down version of suse with the chrome browser.
This has nothing to do with google as was stated by their site.
