Twice as Fast NVIDIA Tegra 2 on its way
Category: News | November 9th, 2009

The latest word flowing down the pipeline is that NVIDIA is gearing up to mount s new strike on the mobile front with their new dual core ARM9 processor which is a successor to the Tegra and delivers improved graphic performance along with a claimed twice the power.
The Tegra 2 chip is said to be an upgrade to the Zune HD specs and apparently the info comes via “high ranking industrial sources” who say the Tegra 2 will come sometime in 2010.
Obviously it makes sense that NVIDIA engineers would have had plenty of opportunity to optimise the platform as no doubt NVIDIA hasn’t been wasting any time in any anti-Intel campaign.
