It seems that Acer are getting in on the act when it comes to Blu-ray, well come on do you blame them considering that HD DVD is dead in the water? Acer are always giving us all the very best in laptop releases and great news and this one has to be the best news yet.
The company are reportedly set to release two new laptop models that will boast high resolution screens and Blu-ray drives, this is not all official as of yet but DigiTimes have reported that the laptops will be 16-inch and an 18.4-inch models.
Both models will also have Full HD panels which at a guess means 1920 x 1080, the details on this news is pretty slim which means dates are not known. The prices are going to be between $1900 and $2240, hopefully they will land sometime in the second quarter of 2008.
