Acer Aspire S7 WQHD ultrabook duo, steep outlay

So many high performance ultrabooks are on the market and trying to choose the perfect one is very hard indeed, so lets take a brief look at the new Acer Aspire S7 WQHD ultrabook duo.

There are many affordable ultrabooks, but when it comes to Acer’s new WQHD (Wide Quad High-Definition) line the pricing in our eyes is a little too steep.

For example the S7-392-9430 model is priced at around $1800 and the S7-392-6425 is about $1500, these are premium laptops but with huge price tags, they do come with superb components within but will they be enough to warrant the prices?

Both of the models above come with 13.3-inch 2560×1440 displays with 10-point multi-touch support, they are about the same in size and weight, the Acer Aspire S7-392-9430 comes with an Intel Core i5 4200U processor, 256GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, Windows 8.1 OS, as well as 802.11n Wi-Fi, two USB 3.0, HDMI, 4-cell battery and memory card reader.

The S7-392-6425 comes with an Intel Core i7 4500U processor, this is really the only difference between the two models and yet there is a $300 price difference.

From $1500 we would say that is a little two steep, for more information please visit the official Acer website.

Would you consider buying any of the Acer Aspire S7 WQHD ultrabook’s?
