Now we all love cheap laptops and even more so when cheap laptops become much cheaper, the latest news reports that the ASUS Eee PC 900s has a $100 rebate attached to it.

The Atom-based 900 series Asus Eee PCs are one of the most wanted for availability but it seems Asus are still doing their best to get as many Celeron-based Eee PC 900s of the shelves, and this is why they are offering a $100 rebate.

So with the $100 rebate it means the price comes down to a nice $449, which come on is a bargain considering the updated Eee PC 901 will be going for around $599. Hopefully this is all good, because remember the Amazon mix-up we told you about yesterday.

As far as we can see it looks like ZaReason an Amazon are offering this rebate until July 31.
